In my own words
Pursuit of Happiness really shows the realities of struggle but also to never give up on your dreams.
For me personally this film was an important to watch because the last few months i've literally had the same situations shown in the film. This film is actually based on a real story about a successful stock broker who didn't give up and went through a lot. It was either Gabriele Muccino or Steve Conrad who got the attention of the story.
But either way the film was really enjoyable and emotional to watch. It was such a good idea to cast Will Smith and Jaden Smith because for a story like that i think it's really important that you can see but also fell that this is his son.
But also in general i really loved the cinematography because a lot of shots combined with the story telling really fitted well. My most favorite scene in entire film is where the son and the father hang out at a basketball court overlooking Chicago, because during the scene Will Smith intentionally said to his son that he wont be basketball star. After a moment Jaden got embarrassed and didn't want to play basketball anymore.
But then Will said to him that no matter what other people tell you, you must not give up on your dreams and keep doing what you love.
And that's why everyone needs to watch this film because it really gives you a perspective that literally everyone can make it.
