Story in a few words
No Other Choice is a Korean drama about a man whose life spirals after losing his job. The film focuses on psychological tension and social realism, showing how desperation can grow when someone feels they truly have no options.
In my own words
Straight from the beginning this film was the first ever South Korean film I've ever watched I wasn't dissapointed at all. Now I understand why Parasite was such a success back in 2020 because the Koreans are pretty good at making 10 out 1o films. I instantly noticed the difference of style between western and Korean film's. You really can see it for example the style of cinematography.
This film shows the harsh reality of finding a job in South Korea and how long it can take to get an offer and the film shows it pretty good.
In genreal I really liked the film and I would watch it again in the theatre. The cinematography was my most favorite thing about this film. You really can see the difference how Koreans take a different approach to cinematography. But also in general I really loved the creativity of the storytelling and the choice of locations.
