Story in a few words
Fantastic Mr. Fox is a stop-motion animated film based on Roald Dahl’s beloved children’s book. It follows Mr. Fox, a clever thief who can’t resist raiding the farms of the cruel Boggis, Bunce, and Bean. When the farmers retaliate by destroying his home, Mr. Fox leads his family and fellow animals on a daring mission to outsmart the humans and survive underground. As the battle of wits escalates, Mr. Fox learns to balance his wild instincts with his responsibilities, in a story full of humor, charm, and resilience.
In my own words
For me personally that's gotta be one of the most sweetheart and beautiful stop motion films from the last 20 years. Every single time watching this film i just admire the details and the beautiful landscapes.
My most favorite thing about the film is gotta be the cinematography. As it's a Wes Anderson film it's gotta be symmetrical of course. But this time it's different in my opinion because this time Wes Anderson didn't have to rely on the landscapes in the real world. This time he built his own world to make his style even more effective.
And I gotta say the production team put in a lot of effort in it to create a own world for this film. Sometimes i just pause the film for a few seconds to just admire and have a closer look to the objects placed throughout the scene. It's crazy to think how they made those tiny tiny objects by hand.
Overall this film is really enjoyable to watch because it really is a own vibe.
The score, story, characters and the amount of detail are really well combined. This film, I think, is for everyone because it's so charming and reminds us to be thankful for what we have in life. It's also perfect when you've had a bad day because not only it's a charming film but it also has some funny moments and good satire.
I hope i could convince you to have a watch because thats truly a film made with a lot of passion and love for detail.
