Story in a few words

28 Years Later presents a chilling vision of a world devastated by a mysterious virus that turns people into aggressive, relentless killers. As society grapples with the aftermath of this catastrophic event, a small group of survivors must navigate a desolate landscape overrun by the infected. The film delves into themes of survival, humanity's resilience, and the ethical dilemmas that arise in extreme circumstances. It's a gripping exploration of fear, hope, and the lengths individuals will go to in order to protect themselves and others in a world turned upside down.

In my own words

I think i just watched the best Film of 2025 so far.

The soundtrack, the cinematography and whole the story in general really put me in this world of this isolation shown in the film.

My most favorite thing in the entire film was the cinematography. What i really like at the shots during kills that it changed the perspective really quick like a 360 shot. I had a look at the Behind the scenes clips where i watched how they even made this quick perspective change. So basically the made an 180 degree angle with 20 iPhones and that's how they made those epic action shots/kills. It's just impressive how they managed to film almost everything with iPhones.

What i also really love about the cinematography is that a lot of shots have this kinda depth/blur which i personally really love. The script is really well written to be honest, the film is very well balanced when it comes to action and calm shots. There is a lot of going on but at the same time you get time to breath after an intense scene and think what you just witnessed because it’s just so well made.
I don't know what else to say about this film than better watch it yourself.
It's the kind of film when i think about creative cinematography and well written screenplay.

This film will sit on my mind for the next few months and keep myself reminded how to produce a well made film and the creativity you need to try out stuff which no one ever tried.
